Using DDP Player For iOS

If you would like to listen to your DDP master on your iOS device (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad), you can do it using this free app:

Sonoris DDP Player for iOS

After you have downloaded and installed the iOS DDP Player app on your phone, open the app, and choose “Enter Studio Key”. Enter the code found at the bottom of the initial email to authorize the app. You’ll only need to do this the first time you use the iOS app.

Next, copy the Dropbox link to the DDP file from the email you received and navigate into the DDP Player section of the iOS DDP Player app. The iOS DDP Player app will automatically detect the download link in your iOS clipboard and ask if you would like to download and unzip the DDP file from the link. Choose yes.

Once the DDP is loaded on your iOS device, you can listen to the album in proper sequence and view all the titles for approval.

A DDP is typically a large file so please allow extra time for it to fully download and you will likely want to be on a WiFi network rather than your cell network to avoid using a lot of your monthly data. You may want to delete any obsolete or unused DDP files from previous master versions (if any) to avoid using too much local storage on your device. To delete a DDP file, just swipe left on the DDP folder or use the edit button in the top right corner of the Local Folder section.

To do things like burn a CD-R, or export each track as a 16-bit/44.1k WAV, you’ll need to use the desktop computer version. There’s info on how to do that in your original email, or on THIS PAGE.
