October/November 2017

This is already by far the most successful year for Mystery Room Mastering so I’d like to thank all the bands, artists, and other clients that have made this possible. Special thanks to The License Lab and About Face Media who also keep me busy.

Both new Bash & Pop songs “Too Late” and “Saturday” which were produced by and feature Nicole Atkins are now available digitally and on vinyl as a 7″ from Fat Possum Records. You can order it HERE.

In October I was able to take an unprecedented 10 day vacation from the studio, as well as take some downtime for some family matters so this update will be a bit light. I was also able to catch a screening of the Jawbreaker documentary “Don’t Break Down” at the Milwaukee film festival which I mixed this summer. It’s still playing in various cities around the US and other countries and eventually will be released digitally and on DVD.

That being said, recent mastering projects include Space Raft, Abby Jeanne, Ian Noe, Dope Calypso, Faz Waltz, Name the Moon, King Mastino, Slow Walker, Brief Candles, Powerwagon, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones/Riot Fest, Midwest Death Rattle, Half Full, DON rodriguez, Kepi Ghoulie/ Miss Chain & the Broken Heels  (split 7″), GLvis, Sex Scenes, High Priests, AncolagE, Legacies, Honest John, Simon Chainsaw, Koiné, Nay Palm Bones, Caleb Widmer, boiling point, John Hammond, The Mastersons, Charlie Parr, Raul Midon, The Way Down Wanderers, Stezo, Liz DeYoe, Xander Anim, Bec Blaedow, Pistol Winks, Golden Sunset Magic, Daydream Retrievers, Michael Goldense, Paladino, Lord AZ, Joyful Noise Quartet, State Line Syndicate, the Invisible Teardrops, Barbara Stephan, This Big Life, Cairns, The Josh Warren Family Band, El Wrongo, 19th Moon, The Fisherman & The Sea, The Color Truth to name a few.
