Once again, the time just flies by so fast that doing a quarterly blog update is a challenge so here is a random early August update.
The big news recently is that the 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of ’12 Golden Country Greats’ by Ween is now fully released and out in the world. It’s available as a 3xLP set, 3xCD set, and on your streaming service of choice via Rhino Records. It features the original 10 song album remastered here, and over 20 additional bonus tracks of various demos, outtakes, and other hard to find and previously unreleased stuff.
The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive so far so don’t hesitate to pick this one up if you see it and you’re a fan. The packaging is stunning as well with lots of cool photos, liner notes, etc.
It’s hard to believe but the self-titled Sheryl Crow album had never been on vinyl until now. The great Vinylphyle series from UMe recently righted that wrong and you can now pick up this classic on super high-quality and high-fidelity vinyl. This 2xLP Vinylphyle version was remastered here and lacquers for vinyl were cut by Jeff Powell. Reviews have been GREAT so far so pick it up while you can. It’s limited to just 3000 copies and available HERE.
Banda AL9 are a great band from Brazil and released a new album on Wicked Cool Records that was mastered here. You can hear their songs regularly over on Little Steven’s Underground Garage and it’s available on vinyl as well. If you’re into power-pop and The Beatles, you’ll love this one as I really enjoyed mastering this it.
Tommy Stinson‘s great 2011 album ‘One Man Mutiny’ was recently remastered here. You can pre-order it now from Yeah Right! Records and the new remaster will be on streaming August 7th as well.
The Ettes released their first new music in 15 years and you can stream their ‘Passionate Liars’ EP wherever you stream music. It was recorded at Rancho de la Luna and mastered here.
The debut solo album from Morris Day was remastered here and the Deluxe Edition is available on your streaming service of choice. It features a number of bonus tracks, remixes, etc. as well.
Two albums from OneRepublic (Dreaming Out Loud & Waking Up) were remastered here and are now available on vinyl (and streaming) with additional bonus tracks, etc. You can view and order them HERE.
OK Go‘s classic album ‘Oh No’ was remastered here and available in various vinyl and CD configurations HERE.
Truman Sinclair is a great you new(ish) artist and the Anniversary Edition of his recent and acclaimed ‘Pale Moon Pale Horse’ was fully remastered here for both vinyl and the new streaming version which is available HERE via Capitol Records.
The Crosses ‘Outlier’ album came out this spring via Triple Eye Industries and it was a real honor to master it. The Crosses began as a vehicle for Daniel Kubinski to bring classic Die Kreuzen material back to the stage—first revisiting the raw speed of Cows and Beer and the self-titled LP, then gradually expanding into the darker tension of October File and the expansive, post-punk-influenced territory of Century Days. As the lineup solidified—especially with the addition of Sieren on drums—the band naturally evolved into writing original material that reflected the full span of Die Kreuzen’s sonic DNA. The result captures the hardcore ferocity of the first three Die Kreuzen records while benefiting from decades of Kubinski’s vocal evolution and artistic maturity. With Die Kreuzen’s influence long acknowledged by artists from Soundgarden to Sonic Youth, The Crosses feel less like a revival and more like the next logical chapter in that legacy.
The band Holy Fuck from Canada put out a great new album in March called ‘Event Beat’ and that was another great one to work on here. Available on all streaming platforms and you can find it on Bandcamp HERE.
Graham Hunt has a great new solo album coming out later in August and it was fun as usual to have Graham in for a rare attended mastering session for this one. You can stream a few of the singles now and pre-order the vinyl from Run For Cover Records HERE.

Also, while things are generally pretty busy here, don’t let that deter you from submitting your mastering projects. Singles can usually be done within 1 to 3 days. We updated the project submission form to have a more dynamic calendar to predict turnaround times based on the number of songs your project is. While we were doing that, we also added a way to add previously mastered singles (mastered here) to your new EP or album project which has been a growing trend in the last 5 to 10 years.
